William J. Faucher

William J. Faucher, Sr., 69, of Gilman, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Vita Care in Medford, under the care of St. Croix Hospice.

A celebration of life will take place at a late date.

William was born on May 16, 1955 to Clifford and Nancy (Starks) Faucher in New London.

William, AKA Boat Man Bill, was so loved by his family, friends, and many of his long time boat customers . He helped a lot of people throughout the years and was good at giving advice even when he was struggling himself. Bill was not only a good boat mechanic. He was a son, brother, uncle, father, and grandpa. He will be greatly missed. We are all sad to know he is gone from this world forever, but we are comforted knowing he is at peace and watching over us with Grandma, Grandpa, Terry and Mickey. 

William is survived by his children, Theresa Faucher, William Faucher Jr., Joseph Von Gunten, Rayleen Von Gunten, Andre Von Gunten, Alexander Faucher, Derek Faucher, Duke Johnson, and Elizabeth Faucher; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Tom, Lori (Gorges), Lary, Karen (Steinberg), Cliff, Kelly (Nieme), and David. William is further survived by many other family and friends.

William was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Terry (Sockett) and Mickey Coehen.
