Terry Lee Floyd

Terry Lee Floyd, 59, of Chippewa Falls, formerly of Rib Lake, died Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

He was born September 13, 1965 in Rib Lake to Kenneth and Carol Floyd.  He grew up in Rib Lake where he attended school.

Following high school, he moved to Arizona for several years, then moved back to the Rib Lake area where he worked at Tannery Lane for many years. 

In 1989, he married Wendy White.   They resided in Menomonie where they managed apartment buildings, then moved to Ridgeland where Terry was a truck driver until his retirement.  Wendy preceded him in death in 2014.

Terry moved to Chippewa Falls recently.  He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, making many trips to Sturgis, SD; fishing; camping at the Spearhead on the Mondeaux; and visiting Montana.

He is survived by four children, Bobbi Jo Floyd of Burlington, Scott Eisner of Dickinson, ND, Peggy (Clay) Downam of Red Lodge, MT, Katie (Andrew) Ranke of Waterford; siblings, Mike Floyd (Tammy Heier) of Medford, Renea (Derrick) Sukow of Merrill, Theresa (Jon) Westberg of Prentice, Brian (Kristy) Floyd of Medford, Debra Heisler (Jeff Novak) of Holcombe, Dawn Heisler of Holcombe, Julie McGary of St. Petersburg, FL, Crystal (Jesse) Martin of Tony; grandchildren, Wyatt and Wayne Eisner, Quinten, Cyrus and Robert Downam, Anthony, Zach and Elizabeth Ranke; special cousins and best friends, Joe Kretchmer and Annette Tiffany; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two siblings, Tammy Graumann and Dan Heisler; and brother-in-law, Gene Graumann.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 1-5 p.m. at Lakeview Park Pavilion in Rib Lake.  A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, with a meal to follow at the pavilion.  Please bring your own drinks.
