Steven H. Lageman

Steven H. Lageman, 67, of Medford, town of Whittlesey, died Monday, March 28, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield.

A gathering to celebrate Steve's life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 2-8 p.m. at the Chelsea Conservation Club.  There will be a brief prayer service at 3 p.m., with lunch and refreshments to follow.

Steve was born December 27, 1954 in Medford to Arlis (Blasel) and Harold “Bud” Lageman.  He graduated from Medford High School, class of 1973.

On June 14, 1974, Steve married Karen Mohr in Medford.  They resided in Whittlesey where Steve worked at Weathershield for nearly 40 years, and spent 30 of those years driving truck.  He loved being outside, working in the garage, fishing, hunting with the Sharpshooter Crew, and woodworking. He loved building wooden toys for his grandchildren, especially trains and trucks.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen of Medford; his mother, Arlis Lageman of Medford; children, Keith (Sara) Lageman of Dorchester, Kris (Brian) Floyd of Medford, Kelly Lageman of Tomahawk; siblings, Ken Lageman of Medford, Nancy (Ardin) Wiitala of Westboro; six grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, MacKenzie, Hunter, Zander and Ivan; one great-grandchild, Kason; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bud Lageman; and daughter, Kathy in infancy.
