Sharon L. Newman

 Sharon L. Newman, 68, passed away at her home in Medford on Thursday, July 4, 2024.

Funeral services for Sharon will take place on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Medford at 11:30 AM; with Pastor Daniel Iwinski officiating. Visitation will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM.

Burial will take place at West Lawn Cemetery in Racine on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 2:00 PM.

She was born in Racine on February 27, 1956, the daughter of Harold and Florence (nee: Tessmer) Bingham. Sharon was raised in Kenosha and Somers and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School and Gateway Technical College. She worked in computers and then was a preschool teacher before being forced into early retirement due to health issues but continued to volunteer anytime she could.

She loved her family dearly and was always there to selflessly help everyone and anyone. She had a very strong faith that shone so bright though her whole life and she shared with everyone she encountered. She will be missed by so many who have experienced her kind heart and giving spirit. She is survived by her mother, Florence Bingham of Medford; two brothers, Ron (Debbie) Bingham of Cheney, Kansas, Glen Bingham of Owen, two daughters, Monica (Kris) Clauss of Bowler, WI and Melissa Findley of Bend, Oregon, as well as many other relatives and good friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold F. Bingham and brother, Gregory H. Bingham.

Memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Medford have been suggested.
