Sharon Jorgensen

Sharon A. (Carlson) Jorgensen of Ogema passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the age of 87 years.

She was the beloved wife of the late Duane S. Jorgensen; loving mother of Doreen (Roy) Castro and Shari (Randy) Bergman; cherished grandmother of Steven (Alexis) Garrou, Abigail (Christopher) Sjoblom, Erin Bergman, and Colby Bergman; and proud great-grandmother of Bexton Sjoblom. She was further survived by close friends, other relatives, and her faithful dogs.

Sharon married Duane Jorgensen on June 28, 1958, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Westboro. They shared 64 adventurous and devoted years together until his passing on July 29, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Evelyn Carlson.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 19 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 513 State Rd., Rib Lake. Visitation will take place from 10:00 until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Private burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Ogema.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sharon’s name can be directed to the Taylor County Humane Society.
