Sandra “Sandy” Leigh Limbo (Vogel), from Ogema was a caring wife, mother of 3, grandmother of 4, sister, and friend to many. Passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the age of 77 after a courageous battle with heart issues & cancer at Marshfield Medical Center.
Sandy Limbo was born May 1, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents of Ralph Henry & Dorothy Lorraine (Wackrow) Vogel. She is survived by her loving husband Dean Robert Sr and three sons David Jon (wife Jill & grandson’s Joshua & Jacob), Joel Dean (grandson Zachary), Dean Robert Jr. (granddaughter Lillie). Sandy is also survived by her sister Vickie (husband Jerry) Ernst. Sandy is proceeded in death by her brother Terry (wife Judy) Vogel. Sandy was married for years to her soulmate Dean.
Sandy was a RN nurse that was very compassionate about helping with taking peoples pain away or helping them deal with their pain. Sandy had worked at Waukegan Development Center, Cancer Treatment Center of America, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and multiple nursing homes, and retired from Medford Hospital.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Sandy. She loved scrapbooking, stamping, & card making. Spending time with her grandkids. She became a 1st Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do in 1994.
