Ryne J. Gerstberger

Ryne J. Gerstberger, 29, of Rib Lake, passed away at home on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Funeral Services for Ryne will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home, Medford, with Pastor Travis Rogers officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will take place at Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Following services a luncheon will take place at The Rib Lake Ice Age Pavilion.

Ryne was born on December 23, 1993 to Ron and Kris (Bacholl) Gerstberger in Marshfield. He attended Prentice Grade School and graduated from Rib Lake High School. He then attended UW-Marathon before earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from UW-Eau Claire. He worked briefly for Great Northern Cabinetry, before working as a Plant Controller at Weather Shield, where he had been for nearly 5 years.

Ryne’s passion was sports. He played baseball, collected sports cards, played fantasy football, participated in NCAA March Madness, even keeping all of his brackets. He loved his 5 girls and spending time with his family.

Ryne is survived by his significant other, Moriah Main of Rib Lake; children, Berlyn, age 6, Aspen, age 3, and Eden, age 3 months, and their dog Willow, age 7; parents, Ronald and Kris Gerstberger of Rib Lake; brother, Nick Gerstberger of Rib Lake; maternal grandparents, James and Diane Bacholl and Beverly Hartmann all of Prentice; aunts, Nancy (Rick) Dohrwardt, Kari (Cork) Rodman, Kathi (Brian) Nutting, and Kelli Bacholl. Ryne is futher survived by cousins and other family and friends.

Ryne was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Marlene Gerstberger; maternal grandfather, Darwin Hartmann; aunt, Teri Fawcett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ryne’s name may be given to the family for use at a later date.
