April 24, 2022 10:14 AMI am sorry I was unable to make it to the memorial service for Rose. She was a fiesty little lady that made the most of life. Rose took such wonderful care of my Uncle Seldon (known as Uncle Biscuit to close family on the Patrick side). It wasn't an easy life, but I never once heard her complain.

April 22, 2022 9:40 AMOur sincere sympathies to the Patrick family. Growing up in Rib Lake, shopping at Patrick's Shoe Store was always a looked-forward-to treat! Both Rose and Pat were as congenial as they were kind. They were never in a hurry and many time we would purposely stop by just to say hi (and to pet the dog!). Their shop/home was a warm, happy place and we loved the scent of leather that lingered in the air. We had not known that Rose had passed, but yesterday, us 3 sisters were talking about our fond visits to Rose and Pat. We were trying to remember Pat's real first name when we came across Rose's obituary. Coincidences happen for a reason! We wish we could attend Rose's funeral today, but since we could not, we wanted to let the family know that we definitely have been thinking of Rose and Pat and are thankful for the lasting positive presence they played in our lives.
