Dick is polka dancing in heaven as I type this memory.  I played in a polka band forty years ago with Mr. Concertina long before George was known as Mr. Concertina.  Dick and Irene were our absolutely most loyal dancers hands down through the years.
I just remember him as a man with an "always smile".
My sincere condolences for your loss of a wonderful husband, father and friend.

The Lord brought Dick upstairs on January 1, 2022.
Dick gave us a legacy of a man of few words, having an exceptional kind demeanor, a person who was quiet and calming, a proud man for many reasons.
Dick was a proud veteran, an incredible teacher, always with Irene at his side preparing the next generation to succeed whether it was food for the family or being a great listener and problem solver.
Dick loved his family, loved hunting, loved helping others, enjoyed his working life and loved his community.
For the Fourth of July Perkinstown Parade, he created a float for the future generation to ride in and from the winning prize they all got ice cream from Grandma and Grandpa.
Dick and Irene helped and supported bringing beautiful music to the community.
Dick shared his talents and with Irene encouraged others to fulfill their own dreams in life!
