Obituary

Nellie Reed, 96, of Medford passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Aspirus Care and Rehab.

A funeral service for Nellie will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Goodrich with Pastor Kenneth Bittorf officiating. Burial will follow at St. Andrew's Cemetery. Visitation will take place at St. Andrew's Church on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Nellie was born to Thomas and Freda (Fiebke) Rinehart on March 18, 1927 in Beloit. She graduated from Medford High School in 1945. She worked as a record technician at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL until her retirement in 1991.

Nellie is survived by her sons, John Reed of Hillsboro, OR and Steve Reed of Canby, OR; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Doris Bartelt of Rib Lake and Loretta McClain of Sun City, AZ.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Donald, Fritz, and Fred; sisters, Marie and Margaret.
