Marvin R. Niemuth, 95, of the township of Deer Creek, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the Colonial Center in Colby, under the care of North Shore Hospice.
A memorial service for Marvin will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Zion Lutheran Church, with Pastor Richard Russow officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will take place at Zion Lutheran Church on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
Marvin was born in Deer Creek to Herman and Helen (Tindula) Niemuth on February 16, 1930. He married Beverly Riemer on September 27, 1952 at Immanuel Lutheran Church; she preceded him in death in 2010. Marvin worked at Niemuth Implement in various capacities until his retirement in 1994.
Marvin enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and beautiful campfires. He also enjoyed working on Allis-Chalmers tractors and farm life. He loved spending time with his family, especially his 2 granddaughters.
Marvin is survived by his children, Sherwood “Woody” Niemuth of Stetsonville and Cheryl (David) Isberner of White Bear Lake, MN; grandchildren, Julia Isberner and Dr. Taylor Isberner, DVM; sister, Vivian Hentges. Marvin is further survived by many other family and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, Marvin was preceded in death by his brothers, Glenn and Vernon; sisters, Marcella, Elaine, Ruth, Pearl, Rachel, Beatrice, and Mabel.
