Larry C. Underwood

Larry C. Underwood, 82, of Medford, passed away on March 2, 2025 at his home.

Per Larry’s request, no services will be held.

Larry was born to Clinton and Cordelia (Weiher) Underwood on July 8, 1942 in Milwaukee. He attended Holy Rosary and Westboro Schools. He graduated from Medford High School in 1961. He then served in the Army. He worked at Hurd Millwork for 41 years. He married Carol (Gowey) Doberstein on August 8, 1987. She told him, she came as a package deal of 5.

Larry liked fishing, hunting, and time spent with his step-children and step-grandchildren. He taught his oldest 2 step-grandsons everything he knew about fishing and hunting.

Larry is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carol; 5 step-children, Susan (Dave) Young of Withee, Brian (Michele) Dobertstein of Medford, Steph (Brian) Nicks of Medford, and Karen Linsdau of Ogema; 9 step-grandchildren, Derick (Laura) Doberstein, Samantha (Matt) Smith, Josh Doberstein, Joe Gebert, Cathrina (Darrin) Dunnum, Makayla Crow, Alex Haizel, Megan (Lineker) Nicks, and Cassandra (Ethan) Nicks; 7 step-great-grandchildren, Grace, Hope, Joy and Serenity Smith and Marshal, Autumn and Helen Dunnum; former step-daughter, Dawn Doberstein. Larry is further survived by many friends and other relatives. We had some good times.
