PLACE OF BURIAL: Cremainal Inurnment will take place in Hatillo, Puerto Rico
DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: May 7, 1922 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico
MARRIAGE INFORMATION: June 22, 1955 in New York City, New York to Jose Serrano and he preceded her in death on November 8, 1988
EDUCATION: Graduated High School in Naguabo, Puerto Rico
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After high school she worked in a factory where they made clothing and hats for a number of years. After her marriage Jose and herself owned and operated a grocery store in New York City from 1962-1970. They then moved to Puerto Rico and after Jose’s death she moved to Dorchester in 2000 to be close to her son, Jose and his family. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, dancing and especially her family. Luz was a very religious woman.

3 Sisters: Josephine, Hilda and Lucia
