Kristin Anderson Obituary

Kristin Anne Anderson, 61, of Medford passed away at home on January 1, 2026 under the care of Hope Hospice, after a long fight with dementia. She peacefully passed surrounded by her family. 

Kris was born in Medford to Dene and Lita (Sauer) Zuleger on February 14, 1964. She attented Immanuel Lutheran school from grades K-8.  She graduated from Medford Area Senior high in 1982. After graduating and marrying her high-school sweetheart, Todd Anderson, she spent her years as an army wife, while raising their three children. She later pursued a masters in education and graduated with honors. She taught Kindergarten for many years in Medford and ended her teaching career as a 4th grade teacher. She enjoyed painting and crafting, decorating, gardening, traveling, garage sales, taking walks and spending time with family. 

Kris lived her life by following the golden rule and treating others how she wanted to be treated, which she instilled in her children as well. 

Kris is survived by her husband, Todd of 43 years; 3 children, Katrina (Bob) Komanec of Medford, Jessica (Ryan) Day of Milwaukee & Tyler Anderson of Milwaukee; 6 grandchildren, Brantley, Landree, Finley & Tilly Komanec, Buddy & Juneau Day. She is also survived by many other family and friends. 

Kris was preceded in death by her parents, Dene & Lita Zuleger.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family. A celebration of life will take place February 14th, 2026 at the VFW in Medford from 1:00-5:00pm.
