Kenneth Niles Petersen, 70, of Rib Lake, formerly of Edgerton, died Wednesday, November 20, 2024 with his wife and daughter at his side, while under the care of Aspirus Hospice.
Ken was born November 17, 1954 in Edgerton to Fred and Beverly (Hargrove) Petersen. He grew up in Edgerton where he also attended school.
For most of his career, Ken worked as a car salesman. His love and knowledge of cars made him an excellent salesman and provided him with his lifelong hobby of collecting and working on cars and hotrods. He also rode Harley-Davidson motorcycles and throughout his lifetime, had belonged to many motorcycle clubs.
On October 26, 2019, he married the love of his life Sue Klinger. He felt he had waited his whole life for her and showered her with daily gifts, even if it was just a little note. Ken’s big heart went beyond just his family and many friends, he was often helping those in need and would literally give you the shirt off his back if you didn’t have one.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Sue; son, Kenneth “Bo”, daughter and caregiver, Jennifer, daughter, Rebecca, son, David, and daughter, April; a sister, Diane; special granddaughter and caregiver, Hannah and her children, Delilah, Carter, Neveah and Amiyah; many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Robert and David.
Private services will be held.
