Joann "Jojo" E. Larson

Joann "Jojo" E. Larson, 78, of Westboro, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Aspirus Medford Hospital.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Joann was born on July 18, 1946 to George and Esther (Pipkorn) Walters in Medford. She graduated from Westboro High School in 1964. She married Dennis Larson on July 3, 1965 at Westboro Trinity Lutheran Church. She worked as cook at Westboro Elementary School for 23 year. She was also a homemaker.

Joann loved the country life and enjoyed flower gardening, fishing, trips to the casino, and traveling.

Joann is survived by her husband, Dennis; children, Todd (Kimberly Holland) Larson and Lori (Dale) Gillespie, both of Westboro; grandchildren, Jacque (Harry) Hustedt and Paul (Melissa) Surek; great-grandchildren, Noah and Nathan Hustedt and Colton and Jada Surek. Joann is further survived by her brother, Larry (Janice) Walters of Rib Lake, brother-in-law, Harvey Meyer and many other family and friends.

Joann was preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Jr; sisters, Shirley Ludtke and Janice Meyer.
