JoAnn M Armbrust

JoAnn M. Armbrust, 82, of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Seasons of Life Hospice House in Woodruff.

A memorial service for JoAnn will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Father Julian Druffner officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will take place at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

JoAnn was born on September 4, 1941 to Walter and Francis (Rudolph) Faude in Medford. She married David Armbrust on June 10, 1961; he preceded her in death on May 21, 2023. JoAnn was the baker at Medford Area Senior High for 20+ years. She also enjoyed baking in her free time. She played in various country music bands for 40+ years. She loved riding horses and was a member of the Royal Rough Riders.

JoAnn is survived by her children, Deb Armbrust of Scottsdale, AZ, Judy (Dave) Westermeier of Minocqua, and Pete Armbrust of Stetsonville; grandchildren, Amanda, Mathew (Autena), Megan (Bryan), Adam (Maci), Camren (Kylee), and Gabrielle; great-grandchildren, Bryan Jr., Chandler, Denzel, Maddie, Wyatt, Emmett, and Myles; sister, Sandy Heier of Germantown. JoAnn is further survived by other family and friends.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dave, brothers, Steven, Raymond, Elmer “Pete”, Ronald “Butch”, and Duane “Nuppy, sister, Ruth.
