Eva M. Molitor, 89, of Medford, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Waterford in Colby under the care of Heartland Hospice.
A memorial service for Eva will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will take place at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Friday, May 16, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
Eva was born on November 30, 1935 to Chester and Helen (Kittl) Marthaler in the town of Goodrich. She graduated from Athens High School in 1953. Eva was homemaker and worked from home as a seamstress for many years while raising her 4 children. She then went to work at Tombstone for 25 years until her retirement in 1995. She married Anton “Skinner” Molitor on May 8, 1992 and he preceded her in death.
Eva enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, ceramic classes, and quilting, for which she won many ribbons. She also loved spending time with her family.
Eva is survived by her children, Dawn (Jim) Goodknight of Amery, Ramona (Brad) Dahl of Medford, Jane Peterson of Stetsonville, and Mark (Darla) Weber of Medford, step daughter Lori (Dale) Erdman of Rib Lake: grandchildren, Wendy Blanton, Tim Wille, Michael Dahl, Tom Dahl, Steve Dahl, Ian Weber, Nathan Weber, and Sadie Keesy, and 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Alice Rivers, Marlene (Glen) Felix, Joan (Terry) Schlag, Phillip (Susie) Marthaler, Roger Marthaler, Leon (Linda) Marthaler, Terry (Corinne) Marthaler, Kathy (John) Olkowski, and David (Lauri) Marthaler. Eva is further survived by many other family and friends.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Bobbi Marthaler, Ethel (Eugene) Belter, Lauralee (Jim) Nelson, and Donald (Adeline) Marthaler; 2 grandchildren and son-in-law Doug Peterson.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Heartland Hospice.
