Ethel E. Kuzenski, 94, of Rib Lake, died Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at Rib Lake Health Services while under the care of Hope Hospice.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2023 at Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home in Medford with Fr. Julian Druffner officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery II, Medford.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Ethel was born November 5, 1928 in Medford to Louis and Elsie (Widmer) Sackmann. She attended Medford schools.
On April 29, 1950 she married Robert Kuzenski at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford. Together they had one daughter. They later divorced.
Ethel worked alongside her husband farming in the town of Deer Creek for many years. Shen then worked at Copp’s Grocery Store in Medford until her retirement.
She enjoyed shopping, computers, reading, gardening, dancing, baking and cooking.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Richard Hill) Kuzenski of Lake Wales, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her nine siblings, Herman, Vincent, Richard, George, Edward, and Donald Sackmann, Rose Marie Martin, Margaret Schlias, and Florence Mayer.
