Elizabeth "Betty" L Seidl

Elizabeth “Betty” L. Seidl, 94, of Medford, passed away at Country Gardens on Monday, August 30, 2021.

A Memorial Mass for Betty will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Father Patrick McConnell officiating. Burial will take place at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Betty was born on March 16, 1927 in Medford to Joseph and Louise (Frenzel) Seidl. She attended Holy Rosary Catholic School and graduated from Medford High School in 1945. Betty worked at the Rib Lake Dairy Lab in Medford after high school. She later worked for 8 years for Dr. Eugene Krembs in Merrill as a dental assistant. She returned to Medford in 1955 and worked as an administrative assistant to the superintendent of the Medford Area School District until her retirement in 1989.

Betty enjoyed reading and gardening. She volunteered extensively at Holy Rosary Catholic School and Church.

Betty is survived by her sisters-in-law Connie Seidl of Wausau and Dorothy Seidl of Milwaukee. Betty is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her sisters, Lucille Meyer and Dorothy Rodehaver and brothers, Joseph, Jerome, Arthur, James, Ralph, Richard, and Thomas Seidl.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Betty’s name to Holy Rosary Catholic School, 215 Washington St. Medford, WI 54451.
