Doris J. Tacke

Doris J. Tacke, 89, of Medford, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Froedtert Medical Center, surrounded by family.

A memorial service for Doris will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with Pastor Daniel Iwinski officiating. A private burial service will be held at a later date. Visitation will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 8:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Doris was born on November 12, 1931 to Otto and Esther (Reichert) Clausnitzer in Medford. She attended Medford area schools and graduated from Medford High School in 1949. She married Robert "Bob" W. Tacke on April 18, 1953; he preceded her in death on October 30, 2013. After school she worked at Hawkins Ash and then at Time Federal Savings Bank until her retirement.

Doris was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was very active member in the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, knitting, socializing with friends crocheting rugs, bowling, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Doris is survived by her children Nancy (John) Czarnezki of Rib Lake, Matt (Judy) Tacke of Medford, and Barb (Dan) Michler of Greenwood; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Doris is preceded in death by her son, James Tacke; great-granddaughter, Tori Czarneski; siblings, Otto Jr., Herman, Robert, Leona, Alda, Alfred, and Dave.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Doris' name may be given to her family for designation at a later date
