David "Dave" R. Kenyon

David “Dave” R. Kenyon, 64, of Medford, passed away at home on Saturday, October 11, 2025, under the care of Hope Hospice, surrounded by family and friends.

A memorial service for Dave will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home, with Pastor George Myers officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Dave was born on November 19, 1960 to Ronald and Linda (Dassow) Kenyon in Ripon, WI. The family relocated many times due to Ron’s work, but eventually settled in Medford. Dave graduated from Medford Senior High School in 1979. After high school he attended UW-Stevens Point and UW-Green Bay. He married Kathy Duesing in 1991 and they had one daughter, Dakota; they were later divorced. Dave owned and operated a successful flooring business, Dave’s Cover-Up, for over 30 years, until his retirement. He also owned rental properties for over 20 years and worked for Catholic Charities for 5 years.

Dave was an avid Packers and Brewers fan. He enjoyed reading, woodworking, and putzing around the house with endless projects. He was always willing to help people in need; donating his time, cooking and delivering meals.

Dave is survived by his daughter, Dakota Kenyon of Burnsville, MN; sisters, Cindie (Mike) Fish of Wausau and Jean (Scott) Robinson of Lino Lakes, MN. Dave is further survived by his niece and nephew, many great-nieces & nephews, and other family and friends.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Ron and Linda, and former brother-in-law, Scott Kurth.
