In 2008, Darlene moved back to the Prentice area to purchase “Ds’ Burger & Bowl” bowling alley with her sister Dorie, which they owned and operated until 2019.
She enjoyed reading and traveling. Her favorite place to visit was Florida, but she had traveled extensively throughout the U.S., including Hawaii and Alaska.
