Daniel Knorn, age 76 of Canon City, Colorado, formerly of Rib Lake, died April 8, 2024.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2024 at Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home in Medford. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Rib Lake.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Daniel was born June 2, 1947 to Anton & Emma Jean (Berg) Knorn. He grew up and went to school in Rib Lake.
On November 29, 1975, he married Dianne Dehne. They resided in Rib Lake and Daniel worked at Weather Shield for many years until his retirement. They moved to Colorado in 2018.
Daniel enjoyed collecting Native American items, learning about trains, and watching mystery shows.
He is survived by: his wife, Dianne of Canon City, CO; daughters, Shirley Knorn of Medford, Loni Williams of Canon City, CO; siblings, Joseph (Jamie) Knorn of Rib Lake, Anthony (Peggy) Knorn of Green Bay, Philomena (Ron) Lechmaier of Milwaukee, Judith (Randy) Mullins of Texas; grandchildren, Maria, Dawn (Victor), Alexander, Kandace, Destiny, Lauren (Tanner), Elijah; great-grandchildren, Oliver, Esmerelda, Eleanor and Estella; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Ruth Koenig, Rosezella Rezutek, Deborah Knorn; and a daughter, Diane Knorn.
