Arliegh F. Leach

Arliegh F. Leach, 64, of Medford, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Colonial Center in Colby, under the care of St. Croix Hospice.

Visitation will take place at Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Nancy Amacher officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Repose Cemetery in Friendship. 

Arliegh was born on November 14, 1958 to Lester and Opal (Murray) Leach in Wild Rose. He graduated from Gilman High School in 1976. Following high school, he joined the National Guard, before enlisting in the Marines. After his service in the Marines, he rejoined the National Guard and served for a total of 21 years. 

Arliegh will be remembered as a supportive father. He was an honest and dependable man who always led by example, and was full of integrity. He enjoyed hunting, logging, listening to country music, and watching old westerns. 

Arliegh is survived by his son, Bryan (Casey Atchison) Leach of Eau Claire and brother, Leroy (Carin) Leach of Mauston.
