Aileen E. (Pitkanen) Erdman

Aileen E. Erdman, 94, of Medford, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Vita Care, under the care of St. Croix Hospice.

Funeral services for Aileen will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy Mantik officiating. Burial will follow at Leavitt Creek Cemetery. Visitation will take place at Hemer-Pickerign Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Aileen was born February 27, 1930 to Andrew and Anna (Linden) Pitkanen in the Town of Hill. She attended Leavitt Creek Grade School and was a 1948 graduate of Westboro High School. She married Albert Erdman on August 29, 1950 in Washington, IN. They returned to Ogema in 1951 where they owned and operated a dairy farm for over 25 years.

Aileen enjoyed walking, gardening, and feeding the birds.

Aileen is survived by her children, Darrell (Joann) Erdman of Fort Myers, FL, Sandra (Randy) Adams of Medford, Dale (Lori) Erdman of Rib Lake, Sharon Erdman of Medford, Sheila (Mike) Werner of Medford, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Aileen is further survived by many other family and friends

Aileen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Duane; siblings, Lydia (Vern) Noukki, Kathryn (Edward) Stensloff, Hilma Griffin, Lorraine Klomstein, Herman Pitkanen, Carl Pitkanen, Wilho Pitkanen, and Ed (Jean) Pitkanen.
