EDUCATION: Hartford City, IN elementary schools, graduate of Hartford City, IN high school. She attended Ball State Teachers’ College in Muncie, IN. Later in life she continued her education at various colleges in Michigan.

MARRIAGE INFORMATION: July 31, 1936 at Hartford City, Indiana to Robert Crist and he preceded her in death in 1985

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: She was a teacher in Michigan and also Amsterdam, NY until her retirement in 1978. After retirement she and her husband moved back to Indiana, where she resided until his death in 1985. At age 90, she moved to Green Valley, AZ and lived close to her sister until moving to Medford in 2006 where she resided at Country Gardens. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, friends & family. She was involved in activities in the Episcopal Church until later years.

SURVIVING CHILDREN: 2 Sons-Rev. John (Maryfran) Crist of Streator, IL & Jim (Mary) Crist of Nanoose Bay, BC, Canada; Daughter-Kathy (Jon) Rulien of Medford

# OF GRANDCHILDREN: 5-Mark Crist, Andrea Heckner, Elizabeth Darby, Jasper Rulien & Mollie Rulien Brost

DECEASED BROTHERS/SISTERS: Brothers-Wallace “Ray” Elliott in 2005 & Lemeul Elliott in 1931
